Redundant rotor design 

The newest member of the AiRrobot^® product family is the AR 70. The unit is currently still in prototype status.

A compact size of only 28 inches in diameter results in increased maneuverability, and enables the unit to be used in confined spaces.

The AR 70 utilizes a new, patented propulsion system. This system is based on a 3-arm design with each arm being outfitted with two counter-rotating rotors. Compared to the previous 4-arm system, the dimension could be reduced by 30%, maintaining the payload capacity. In addition the new concept results in propulsion system redundancy and consequent increase in passive safety.

Estimated time of availability is 4^th Quarter of 2009.
